2,4,6-Tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol is an amber to red-brown liquid with an amine odor, less dense than water, and with vapors heavier than air. It is corrosive to the eyes, skin, mouth, stomach, and throat, and its vapors may irritate the eyes and corrode the upper respiratory tract.
