Conivaptan hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of conivaptan. It functions as an antagonist for two of the three types of arginine vasopressin receptors, V1a and V2, and is used in the management of hyponatraemia caused by the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH).
