Riociguat is a stimulator of soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC), used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in the manufacturing of medications for pulmonary hypertension. It is the first drug in its class and is primarily indicated for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary arterial hypertension.
