Treosulfan is an alkylating agent used as a conditioning treatment prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. It clears the bone marrow to make room for transplanted donor cells, and is administered together with fludarabine in both adults and children from one month of age with blood cancers or other severe disorders requiring a transplant.
