4-Methylcyclohexylamine is a colorless viscous oily liquid with almost no odor. It is toxic by skin absorption and causes severe chemical burns on contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes; toxic ammonia and nitrogen oxides may be released upon exposure to fire.
