2-Amino-5-nitrothiazole is a greenish-yellow to orange-yellow fluffy or brown chunky powder with a slightly bitter taste. It is a veterinary antiparasitic feed additive, formerly used in turkey feed to treat histomoniasis, and also for trichomoniasis in pigeons.
