Ethylaluminum sesquichloride (EASC) is an industrially important organoaluminum compound used primarily as a catalyst component in Ziegler–Natta type systems for olefin and diene polymerizations. It is a colorless liquid that is spontaneously combustible in air and reacts violently with water.
