Octreotida
Octreotide is a synthetic octapeptide that pharmacologically mimics natural somatostatin, with greater potency in inhibiting growth hormone, glucagon, and insulin. It primarily binds to somatostatin receptors SSTR2 and SSTR5 and was first synthesized in 1979.
