Imazethapyr is a selective imidazolinone herbicide used to control annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds in soybeans and other major crops. It is a member of pyridines and an aromatic carboxylic acid, applied pre-plant incorporated, pre-emergence, or post-emergence.
