4'-Aminopropiophenone is an organic compound used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It is structurally related to amphenone B, a steroidogenesis inhibitor that blocks multiple enzymes in the biosynthesis of steroid hormones and thyroxine, though amphenone itself was never marketed.
