Amodiaquine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of amodiaquine, a 4-aminoquinoline derivative with antimalarial activity. It is structurally similar to chloroquine and shows effectiveness against certain chloroquine-resistant strains of Plasmodium falciparum, the most deadly malaria parasite.
