2,2-Bis(3,4-dimethylphenyl)hexafluoropropane is a hexafluoroisopropylidene-bridged aromatic compound used as an intermediate in the production of high-performance polyimides. It is structurally related to 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA), a monomer for advanced polymer materials.
