Thiocolchicoside is a semi-synthetic derivative of colchicine used as a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Its mechanism of action is not fully understood but is believed to involve antagonism of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, as well as competitive antagonism of GABAA and glycine receptors.
