Isopropylhydrazine is a chemical compound used as a synthetic intermediate in the preparation of hydrazine derivatives. It is structurally related to the monoamine oxidase inhibitor iproniazid, which was originally developed as an antituberculosis agent and later used as an antidepressant, though it was withdrawn due to hepatotoxicity.
