Lawesson's reagent

Lawesson's reagent is a organophosphorus compound containing a four-membered dithiadiphosphetane ring with two methoxyphenyl substituents and two sulfur atoms bonded to phosphorus. It is primarily used as a thionating agent to convert carbonyl groups into thiocarbonyl groups in organic synthesis.
