Levalbuterol sulfate is a salt form of the beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist levalbuterol, which is the R-enantiomer of albuterol. It is used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in products designed to induce bronchodilation by acting selectively on beta-2 receptors in the lungs.
