Dibenzoylmethane

Dibenzoylmethane is a beta-diketone structurally derived from acetylacetone by replacing both methyl groups with phenyl groups. It occurs naturally as a minor constituent of licorice root extract and has been studied for antimutagenic and anticancer properties.
