ChemAbout's matching workflow is built around products, requests, system matching, and mutual confirmation:
- A supplier lists products they can supply, including CAS number, specifications, supply capacity, and other key details.
- A buyer publishes a purchase request describing what they need.
- The system matches product and request information, then surfaces relevant opportunities to suppliers.
- The supplier responds to a matched purchase request and signals their intent to supply.
- When the buyer and supplier agree to connect, the connection is successful and can be managed inside the workspace.
What the platform does — and does not
ChemAbout surfaces relevant counterparts and keeps the conversation organized. It does not negotiate price, handle payment, ship goods, or verify compliance. Those steps stay between you and your counterpart.
