Faricimabum (faricimab) is a bispecific antibody developed as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for use in the manufacture of therapies targeting retinal vascular diseases. It is designed to simultaneously bind to and inhibit both vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2), addressing pathways involved in retinal neovascularization.
