2,4,5-Trichlorophenol is a chlorinated aromatic compound that appears as colorless needles, gray flakes, or an off-white lumpy solid with a phenolic odor. It was formerly used as a fungicide and bactericide, and currently serves primarily as an intermediate in the manufacture of herbicides.
