D-Phenylalanine is an enantiomer of the amino acid phenylalanine that has been marketed as an antidepressant pharmaceutical ingredient. It is sold under brand names such as Deprenon, Sabiben, and Sabiden in Argentina, where it has been available since at least the 1970s.
