Ac-Gly-Ala-Lys(Ac)-AMC is a fluorogenic peptide substrate designed for protease activity assays. It contains an acetylated lysine residue and an AMC (7-amino-4-methylcoumarin) reporter group that becomes fluorescent upon proteolytic cleavage, enabling real-time measurement of enzyme kinetics.
