Kalsitonin
Salmon calcitonin is a peptide hormone composed of 32 amino acids. It is primarily used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in pharmaceutical manufacturing, functioning to reduce blood calcium levels by counteracting the effects of parathyroid hormone.
