3,6-Dichloropyridine-2-carboxylic acid, commonly known as clopyralid, is a selective herbicide used for controlling broadleaf weeds. It is particularly effective against thistles and clovers, including creeping thistle, a noxious perennial weed, and is one of the few effective herbicides available for this purpose.
