Sacubitril calcium is a calcium salt form of sacubitril, a prodrug that acts as a neprilysin inhibitor. Upon administration, it is metabolized to its active form, sacubitrilat, which inhibits neprilysin, an enzyme that degrades natriuretic peptides and certain vasoconstricting peptides.
