Pseudouridine 5'-phosphate is a phosphorylated nucleotide analog involved in RNA modification. It is formed from uracil and D-ribose 5-phosphate by the enzyme pseudouridylate synthase and is used primarily as a research reagent in studies of RNA structure and function.
