Sulfo-SMCC sodium is a water-soluble, sulfonated heterobifunctional crosslinking reagent used in bioconjugation. It contains an amine-reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide ester and a sulfhydryl-reactive maleimide group, enabling the formation of stable amide and thioether bonds between biomolecules.
