(+)-Usnic acid

(+)-Usnic acid is a naturally occurring dibenzofuran derivative found in lichen species such as Usnea undulata and Ramalina hierrensis. It is the enantiomer of (-)-usnic acid and is used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
