Riboflavin sodium phosphate, also known as flavin mononucleotide (FMN), is a biomolecule derived from riboflavin (vitamin B2) that functions as a prosthetic group in various oxidoreductases and as a cofactor in biological blue-light photoreceptors. It is capable of participating in both one- and two-electron transfer reactions, making it a stronger oxidizing agent than NAD.
