Pymetrozine

Pymetrozine is an insecticide in the pyridine-azomethine chemical class, used primarily to control homopteran pests such as aphids and whiteflies in agriculture. It acts by selectively targeting the nervous system of sap-feeding insects, causing them to stop feeding soon after ingestion, which minimizes harm to non-target beneficial insects.
