Saikosaponin f is a triterpenoid saponin compound found in plants of the genus Bupleurum, which are used in traditional herbal medicine. It is a constituent of the classic Chinese herbal formula Shō-saiko-tō (Xiaochaihu Tang), widely prescribed in China and Japan as a Kampo medicine.
