Gadobenate dimeglumine is the methylglucamine salt form of gadobenic acid, a gadolinium-based complex used as a contrast medium for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It consists of a gadolinium ion chelated by the ligand BOPTA and is supplied as a pharmaceutical raw material for manufacturing contrast agents.
