24-Methylenelophenol, also known as gramisterol, is a metabolic intermediate in sterol biosynthesis found in plants and fungi. It is converted from 4α-methylfecosterol by the enzyme HYD1 and can be further transformed into (Z)-24-ethylidenelophenol by 24-methylenesterol C-methyltransferase.
